A fraud investigation audit, also known as Forensic Audit, is a special form of audit aimed at identifying and documenting indications of fraud, dishonest activities or corrupt practices within an organization.
This type of audit includes a detailed analysis of business transactions, financial transactions, and accounting reports to identify and provide evidence of offences.
